Melisa M. Korkmaz (1994) is an International Business Law student (Law Faculty, Leiden University). She has always been interested in trade in general. Trade has taken place throughout human history as it originates from human interaction. Trade influences the economic growth and therefore contributes to the development of a nation. Technological development and the demand of green products from customers force corporations to balance economic growth and accept ethical responsibility above basic legal responsibility. In Melisa’s blogs, she shares her views how trade can take place within the framework of corporate social responsibility.
