Mirjam van Schaik (MA, LL.M. VU University Amsterdam) is a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Jurisprudence, Leiden University, the Netherlands. She studied at VU University Amsterdam and holds a Master’s degree in Law (cum laude) and a Master’s degree in Philosophy of Law. Mirjam is currently writing her dissertation about the universal status of freedom of religion and what this implies for the relationship between state and religion, which is supervised by Professor P.B. Cliteur.
