Simona Florescu

Simona obtained her LL.B. degree in Romanian law. She holds an LL.M. in Comparative Constitutional Law (2004) from the Central European University, Budapest and an LL.M. in European Law from Radboud University, Nijmegen. Simona worked for four years as a lawyer for the Registry of the European Court of Human Rights and she was a lecturer at Utrecht University. Also, she is a qualified attorney at law with the Bucharest Bar Association.
Simona was awarded the second prize of the NJCM for her LLM thesis: "The Intersection of the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction and the Case-Law of the European Courts".
