Laura van Bochove

Laura joined the Institute of Private Law in September 2015. She has a Master’s degree in Private Law and a PhD degree, both obtained at Erasmus University Rotterdam. In 2013, she defended her PhD thesis on tortious interference with contractual relations. The research, funded by the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO), compares and evaluates the legal consequences Dutch, German, French, English and American law attach to interference with another’s contract, e.g. inducement of a breach of contract. She conducted research as a visiting scholar at both the University of Arizona and Cambridge University.
Laura’s research interests include the Private International Law aspects of weaker party protection and purely economic loss.
