Maarten van Buuren

Maarten van Buuren is a corporate and commercial law specialist. He is an all-round business lawyer, and a litigation practitioner. Maarten has over 20 years of legal experience as an attorney, and is a part-time lecturer in corporate and company law at Leiden University, the Netherlands.
Before joining the boutique law firm ‘WLP-Law’ at the end of 2013, Maarten has been working in the area of business law since 1993. He has been attorney and advisor for Netherlands’ based national and international public and private mid-market, and family owned, businesses and investment funds. Maarten has worked with clients in a number of industries, in particular in oil & gas, logistics, life sciences and ICT. He deals with joint ventures and partnerships, transactions, mergers, corporate restructuring and re-financing, corporate litigation and arbitration, and commercial contracts.
