Manel Moya Noguera (Barcelona, 1992) is a PhD Candidate at the University of Barcelona and has been a guest researcher at Leiden University (2017). He received his Bachelor in Law from the University of Barcelona, with a short stay at the University of Wolverhampton (UK). He is a Master in Constitutional Law (Centre for Political and Constitutional Studies, an office of the Spanish Ministry of the Presidency) as well as in Legal Practice (Open University of Catalonia). He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in “Communication and Political Leadership” (Autonomous University of Barcelona).
His PhD thesis is about the governance of the federal Spanish science, technology and innovation system in a comparative approach. He is also interested in parliamentary studies, democratisation in the Middle East and North Africa, rule of law, federalism, devolution processes and self-determination in the 21st century.
